Migration to Shopify
Migrating your store from WooCommerce or another platform to Shopify, products, customers, and order history, moved over properly.
In depth
What migration to shopify really involves
Moving platforms is stressful for good reason. Your products, customers and order history live in the old system, your search rankings depend on its URLs, and any downtime costs sales. A migration done carelessly can lose all three.
So we plan before moving anything. What data comes across: products, variants, images, customers, past orders, reviews, blog posts? What can't, such as passwords, which can't be transferred and need a re-set invitation? Which URLs change, and what do they redirect to? We write this down so there are no surprises on the switch-over day.
Data usually moves via import tools or scripts, followed by careful checking. We compare counts, spot-check products and test the checkout. DNS cut-over happens at a quiet time. Sometimes a platform's quirks mean not everything migrates perfectly, and we'd rather tell you that early than have you discover it later.

How we approach migration to shopify
Audit the old store
We list data, apps, URLs and integrations, and decide what moves, what's rebuilt and what's retired.
Build and import on Shopify
The new store is set up while the old one keeps trading, and data is imported and checked.
Map redirects and test
Every important old URL gets a redirect, and checkout, emails and tracking get tested.
Switch domain and monitor
DNS is pointed at the new store at a quiet time, and we watch orders and search results closely afterward.
Ideal for
Who this fits
Businesses outgrowing WooCommerce or another platform
Stores wanting Shopify's reliability without losing existing data
Watch out for
Common mistakes, and how we avoid them
Forgetting redirects
It's the biggest cause of lost rankings after a move. We map them all.
Customer passwords
They can't be moved. We plan an account-activation email so customers aren't stranded.
Moving junk
Old, unused products and plugins don't need to come along. Migration is a chance to clean up.
