Shopify redesign / rebuild
A redesign or rebuild for stores that get traffic but don't convert it, without necessarily starting from zero on what's already working.
In depth
What shopify redesign / rebuild really involves
Stores get redesigned for the same reasons websites do: they look dated, they're slow, or the numbers are flat. Before agreeing to start fresh, it's worth working out which of those is true, because a slow store with a confusing checkout won't be fixed by a new homepage.
A redesign needs care around what you already have. Existing product URLs may be ranking and bringing buyers. Reviews, customer accounts and order history can't be lost. We start by looking at which pages, collections and products bring traffic and sales, then design the new store to keep and improve those parts.
Sometimes the best answer is an update of the current theme, not a rebuild. We'll tell you if that's the case. When a rebuild is right, we set up the new store on a development theme, test it fully, and switch over when everything's ready, so shoppers never see a half-finished store.

Ideal for

Stores that have outgrown their original design
Watch out for
Common mistakes, and how we avoid them
Breaking product URLs
Changed links without redirects lose search traffic. We map every one.
Redesigning without fixing speed
A prettier slow store still loses sales. Performance is part of the brief.
Losing tracking in the switch
New themes often drop pixels and analytics code. We re-test everything.
