Business websites
A clear, fast website for your company or local brand: who you are, what you do, and how to reach you, built to be taken seriously.
In depth
What business websites really involves
Most business websites fail in the same boring way. Someone lands on the homepage, can't tell in five seconds what the company actually does, and leaves. Not because the design was ugly. The words were vague.
So we start with the words. Who are you selling to, what do they ask before they buy, and what makes them nervous? Those answers decide the page structure. A plumber's site and a software consultancy's site shouldn't look alike, even if both want phone calls.
After that it's the usual craft: a layout that works on a cheap phone, pages that load quickly, a contact route that's impossible to miss, and a simple way for you to change text without calling us. We don't use stock templates with the logo swapped in. You'd be able to tell, and so would your customers.

How we approach business websites
A short conversation about your customers
We ask who buys from you, what they ask on the phone, and what makes them hesitate. This usually takes a call or two and shapes everything else.
Page plan and wording
Before any design, we agree the pages and the headline on each one. Writing the copy early stops the 'we'll fill in the text later' problem that wrecks launch dates.
Design and build
We design the key pages, get your feedback, then build. You'll see a working version on a test link well before launch, so there are no big reveals.
Launch and check
We test forms, speed and mobile layout, set up analytics and search basics, and walk you through updating the content yourself.
Ideal for
Who this fits
Businesses without a proper website yet
Companies whose current site doesn't reflect how they actually operate
Watch out for
Common mistakes, and how we avoid them
Talking about the company instead of the customer
'Founded in 2010 with a passion for excellence' tells a visitor nothing. We lead with what the visitor gets and push history lower down.
Ten pages when four would do
More pages means more upkeep and more places to be vague. We build what's needed now and leave room to add later.
No clear next step
If a visitor has to hunt for how to contact you, many won't bother. Every page ends with one obvious action.

Business websites: common questions
Often fewer than people think. Home, services, about, contact and maybe a page per major service covers a lot of businesses. We'd rather build five good pages than fifteen thin ones.
